A choice of five inspiring, tailored illustrator-led workshops for pupils from EYFS to KS5

Primary and Secondary Illustration Workshops

Bring your class to be inspired by our exhibitions - and learn to be illustrators!

• Teaching expertly adapted to all ages from EYFS to KS5 +

• Tailored to your topic, text, curriculum area or scheme of work
• Sessions are 2 hours, with gallery activities followed by hands-on workshops

Primary Workshops teach accessible, effective art and illustration skills and link to any curriculum area. Students gain the confidence to communicate ideas and knowledge visually.

Secondary Workshops teach higher-level skills and expertise. Students gain the confidence to respond to an illustration brief and develop skills in visual communication.

Choose from:

Character Design
Create characters from text descriptions – just let us know the book you’re studying. Or invent exciting brand new characters from imagination.
(English/Literacy)

Pop-Up Illustration
Using simple paper engineering, create pop-up scenes on any subject for a stunning classroom display or class book.
(Science, Humanities, English)

Sequential Illustration
Depict life cycles, scientific processes or a series of events.
Or create and tell a visual story.
(Science, Humanities, English)

Creating Mood & Atmosphere
Explore techniques to convey the feeling and setting from a specific text.
(English/Literacy)

Poster Design
Communicate a message visually using illustration with typography and graphic design.
(All subjects including PSHE, SMRE, British Values, whole-school themes)

Sessions available Tuesday – Friday 10.15am – 12.15pm & 12.30pm – 2.30pm

If you have something specific in mind not covered by this menu of options, please get in touch. We are here to support teachers and our illustration team will be delighted to adapt to your requests where possible.

Prices - frozen since 2015!

£175 per class (up to 30) or £300 for two classes in one day (State Schools)
£300 per class (up to 30) or £550 for two classes (Independent Schools)
