Explore how illustration can represent – and revolutionize – the landscape of mental health at this hands-on workshop with medical illustrator Merlin Strangeway.
You’ll harness the power of illustration to depict the inner workings of the mind; to shock, subvert, support, proclaim, connect and embolden. Working through a series of guided exercises, you’ll map and articulate inner emotional states and narrative using a variety of media and techniques.
Expect a supportive environment of like-minded people with whom to share your work and practice – no previous drawing experience necessary.
If you’d like to bring a sketchbook and any preferred pens or pencils, you’re welcome to do so but it’s not essential.
Please note: this masterclass is for those aged 18+ only.
