Get a bite-size one-day taster of our popular Illustrating Animals course with illustrator and educator Sion Ap Tomos.
Working from extensive photographic reference, you’ll get to grips with the basic anatomy of mammals, developing your understanding of animal form through collage and drawing.
In the first part of the session, you’ll be experimenting with colour and texture in your collages. Afterwards you’ll move on to drawing, balancing the often competing requirements of both depicting anatomy accurately and at the same time capturing a sense of life and movement.
No need to bring anything – all materials provided by House of Illustration.
Please note: this masterclass is for those aged 18+ only.
