Make playful posters using symbols and collage inspired by Marie Neurath’s pioneering information design.
At this workshop for 5-12 year old illustrators-in-the-making, they’ll look at the ground-breaking graphics produced by the Isotype Institute – an organisation that made proper grown-up science accessible to children – and collage posters inspired by these works.
They’ll then delve into Marie Neurath’s books for children and sketch out illustrated biographies of Neurath herself.
Materials are provided.
