Family Workshop: Make 3D Paper Portraits with Nurbanu Asena

Explore the art of paper sculpture and make a mini portrait to take home.

When, Where

Spend your Saturday afternoon exploring the art of paper sculpture. Discover different styles of portrait-making, learn techniques for drawing facial features and produce a beautiful mini portrait to take home.

We will practice how to draw the features of a particular person and use this sketch as a guide for our paper cuttings. We will then layer different coloured papers to create a detailed paper relief sculpture of your chosen subject.

Your ticket to the workshop includes entry to our current exhibitions: Corita Kent: Power UpLudwig Bemelmans: Sketches for Madeline and YiMiao Shih.

Materials are provided.
