Family Workshop: Introduction to Comic-Making with Zoe Delautre Corral

Design characters, build stories and create short comics to take home.

When, Where

Enjoy an afternoon of drawing and exploring the world of comics with professional illustrator Zoe Delautre Corral. This workshop will inspire, encourage and equip your 5-12 year olds to express themselves visually and tell stories through comics.

Participants will explore techniques to design characters, build stories through a series of creative tasks and learn how to make them into short comics to take home. They'll learn about the use of panels, colour and type in comic while practicing different drawing styles and techniques.

Your ticket to the workshop includes entry to our current exhibitions: Corita Kent: Power Up, YiMiao Shih: Rabbrexit Means Rabbrexit and Ludwig Bemelmans: Sketches for Madeline.

Materials are provided.
