Bring your little ones along to our monthly workshops for 2-5 year olds with educator and illustrator Neysela da Silva-Reed. They’ll play games, listen to a story, see artworks in the gallery and make something great to take home!
These sessions are unique opportunity for very young children to visit an art gallery, developing confidence, creativity and communication skills in a fun and welcoming environment with other toddlers. Neysela tailors each workshop to relate to one of our exhibitions: this month it’s the much-loved picture book in Ludwig Bemelmans: Sketches for Madeline.
Feedback from previous sessions:
“An engaging session for little ones with lovely activities.”
"We especially enjoyed the gallery visit."
“My daughter can do things at age two – which is in itself superb – and I know that she’ll get even more out of it as she gets older.”
Our shop and galleries are all on the ground floor and are fully wheelchair-accessible, with lift access to our workshop space, and accessible toilets. We have baby changing facilities and are buggy-friendly. House of Illustration welcomes guide and assistance dogs.
