As one of the most remarkable artists of the 20th century, the influence of Corita Kent’s experiments with typography, print and day-glo colours on generations of designers cannot be overstated. In the last week of Corita Kent: Power Up, we explore her legacy through the lens of three contemporary practitioners, each with a personal connection to her work.
Join Morag Myerscough, Lucienne Roberts and Corita Kent: Power Up exhibition designer Fraser Muggeridge for an insightful discussion about the gamechanging artist-nun, plus a Q&A chaired by John L. Walters, editor of Eye Magazine. This promises to be unmissable evening for typography and design practitioners, students and enthusiasts.
Arrive early for a private view of the exhibition in its final week from 5.30-6.45pm. Doors to the talk will open at 6.45pm.
Please note that latecomers may not be admitted.
