Helen is an enthusiastic Holmesian who has served as a Council Member of the Sherlock Holmes Society of London and is invested in the world’s oldest Sherlock Holmes Society, The Baker Street Irregulars of New York.
She said: ‘It’s a great honour to have been asked to join the judging panel and I anticipate a wide range of amazing responses to the challenge of illustrating Holmes for a new generation.’
She will be joining five other judges on the panel: Sheri Gee, Folio Society Art Director; Colin McKenzie, Director of House of Illustration; James Rose, Folio Society Editor; Olivia Ahmed, House of Illustration Curator and 2017 competition winner Darya Shnykina.
