Frequently asked questions about our family programme.

Before contacting us, please check if we've already answered your query below! Due to the extremely high volume of enquiries we receive, the quickest way for you to get an answer is to check these frequently asked questions.

My child is outside the specified age range for a workshop  can they still attend?

Our workshops are specially tailored to specific ages so unfortunately we cannot admit those who fall outside the ages specified.

My child can no longer attend the workshop – can I get a refund?

We are not able to give refunds.

My child can no longer attend the workshop – can I transfer our ticket to a different workshop?

We are not able to transfer your ticket to a different workshop.

The workshop is fully booked – can you put my child on a waiting list?

We are not able to operate waiting lists for fully-booked workshops.

What materials does my child need to bring for the workshop?

Any materials needed are specified in the event description. The majority of materials are supplied by House of Illustration.

When will you be running the workshop again?

We usually run Family Workshops, Creative Fun for 2-5s and BSL Family Workshops on a monthly basis, with breaks over the school holidays. Please sign up to our newsletter and follow us on Twitter to be the first to know when future workshops are announced.

I have booked a ticket but only received a PayPal confirmation – is my child actually booked on the workshop?

Yes – your PayPal receipt is confirmation of your booking.

Are you fully accessible?

Our building, galleries and workshop space are all fully wheelchair-accessible.  If you have any other specific needs please get in touch so we can address these.
