Frequently asked questions about our courses and masterclasses for adults.

Before contacting us, please check if we've already answered your query below! Due to the extremely high volume of enquiries we receive, the quickest way for you to get an answer is to check these frequently asked questions.

I can no longer attend the course/masterclass/session – can I get a refund?

We are not able to give refunds. You may, however, transfer your ticket to another person.

I can no longer attend the course/masterclass/session – can I transfer my ticket to a different course/masterclass/session?

We are not able to transfer your ticket to a different course or class.

The course/masterclass/session is fully booked – can you put me on a waiting list?

We are not able to operate waiting lists for fully booked classes and courses.

There were a few dates to select from on your course booking page – which one should I choose to book into the course?

Please choose the first date and you will be booked onto the whole course.

What materials do I need to bring along for the course/masterclass/session?

Any materials needed are specified in the course or class description. The majority of materials are supplied by House of Illustration.

When will you be running the course/masterclass/session again?

Is the course/masterclass/session for beginners? What level of knowledge is required?

Most courses and masterclasses are suitable for a range of levels of skills and experience unless otherwise specified in the description.

I have booked a ticket but only received a PayPal confirmation – am I actually booked on your course?

Yes – your PayPal receipt is confirmation of your booking.

Can my 16 year old child attend your session?

Unfortunately not – all our masterclasses and courses are for those aged 18 and over.  We do not currently have a young people’s programme.

Are there breaks and is tea/coffee provided?

Tea/coffee is provided on all courses.  Masterclasses include a break for participants to go out for refreshments.

Are you fully accessible?

Our building, galleries and workshop space are all fully wheelchair-accessible.  If you have any other specific needs please get in touch so we can address these.

We do not currently have any online courses available.
