Family programme FAQs

Frequently asked question about our workshops for 2-12 year olds.

Before contacting us, please check if we've already answered your query below! Due to the extremely high volume of enquiries we receive, the quickest way for you to get an answer is to check these frequently asked questions.

What ages are your family workshops suitable for?

The Mini Change-Makers workshops are for 2-5 year olds and their parents and carers.

The Family Illustrator in Residence workshops are for 5-12 year olds and their parents and carers. Because this is a broad age range, you may need to work with your child to help expand or simplify activities as appropriate.

My child is outside the specified age range for your family workshop. Can they still attend?

Unfortunately we cannot admit those outside the specified age range as our family workshops are specifically tailored to particular ages.

Do you have any workshops for teenagers/young people?

Unfortunately we do not currently offer any workshops for 13-17 year olds.

Do children need to be accompanied by an adult in your family workshops?

All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. All tickets for our family workshops include one adult and one child, and children must not be left alone or in the workshop at any time.

How many children can I bring per adult?

There must be at least one adult for every three children. Adults without children will not be admitted.

I have booked a ticket but only received a PayPal confirmation. Am I actually booked on to the family workshop?

Yes you are. Your PayPal receipt is confirmation of your booking.

The family workshop I want to book is sold out. Can I be added to a waiting list?
